HOW IT’S DONE
Preparation: The object to be dipped is cleaned thoroughly and often primed with a base coat.
Film Preparation: A special hydrographic film, which features the desired design or pattern, is placed on the surface of a water tank. The film floats on the water's surface and is sprayed with an activator chemical.
Activation: The activator chemical dissolves the film's ink, causing it to turn into a liquid and adhere to the object's surface.
Dipping: The object is carefully dipped into the water tank, allowing the ink to wrap around its surface evenly.
Rinsing and Drying: Excess ink and activator are rinsed off, and the object is left to dry thoroughly.
Clear Coating: A clear protective coat is applied to seal and protect the design, giving it a glossy finish.
